18 Weeks

I cannot believe I'm already 18 weeks.  I am really starting to feel the baby move.  I think I've felt this for a few weeks, but it was very sporadic and faint.  Now, I feel movement every day if not multiple times a day.  It's such a weird, but neat feeling.  I'm sure it'll continue to get much stronger in the days and weeks ahead.  I'm starting to grow too.  My pants are becoming tighter and tighter by the day.  I've still only bought one pair of maternity capris, but I've had to buy some more pj pants that don't cut off my circulation.  I figure by 20 weeks, I'll have to put most of my old clothes away for a few months.

We registered for the first couple of items today.  I took Jonathan by Pottery Barn Kids and showed him the "Sweet Lambie" nursery bedding that I've been eyeing for a while.  We both love it, so we decided to go with it.  It's neutral and goes well with the color schemes of our house.  Also, we'd be able to use it for a second child.  We'll of course be adding more things once we learn the sex, and we'll register at other places as well.  If you want to view our registry at PBK click here http://www.potterybarnkids.com/registry/2533278/registry-list.html.

Only one more week and we'll finally find out whether or not we'll have a baby boy or girl.  I'm about to go crazy waiting to find out.  Jonathan doesn't seem to be too anxious.  I wish I had his calmness and patience.  I have caught myself subconsciously saying "she" and "her" but now I'm not so sure.  Obviously it could go either way.  Still trying to decide on names, and I still have not bought a name book.  Pregnesia is preventing me from buying one.

Unless something else exciting happens between now and then, check back a week from tomorrow for the sex.
